The Stoves Testing Center -Bolivia, "CPC" for its acronym in Spanish "Centro de Pruebas de Cocinas" is an institution of research, testing and certification of cooking and water heating systems. CPC was initially sponsored in 2009 by Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Intenationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Project Energizing Development (EnDev) - Bolivia and finally established as an international reference laboratory supported by United Nations Foundation (UNF) and Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves (GACC) , now Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA) and operated within the Institute for Research and Development of Chemical Process (IIDEPROQ) of the MaYor of San Andres University (UMSA).
In 2012, CPC becomes a Regional Testing and Knowledge Center (RTKC).
The CPC's mission is to perform energy efficiency and emissions testing services under international standards applied to clean cooking and water heating systems, complying with a quality management system according to local and international clients, continuously applying research and development projects.
